Start At The San Francisco International Film Festival

The San Francisco International Film Festival may be turning 50 this year - old enough to start getting membership offers from AARP — but you won’t find it obsessing about wrinkles.

On Tuesday, the San Francisco Film Society announced an ambitious program of films and special events that show the society’s determination to make the festival’s golden anniversary its most vibrant year ever.

Running April 26 to May 10, the festival boasts 200 films from a record-high 54 countries.
