The Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has to lose her locks for new movie Nappy Ever After and admits she is “scared to death” about the prospect of being bald.
She said: “In the course of the story something bad happens to my character’s hair and she shaves it all off. I’m scared to death but that’s what I must do. Though I suppose going bald could be a little exciting too. So we’ll probably film the process from beginning to end.”

Sheryl Crow had topped a new Unlucky in Love list following a string of failed romances, informs Starpulse. The singer, who has had flings with Eric Clapton, Kid Rock and Owen Wilson, broke off her engagement to cycling champion Lance Armstrong last year.
Her optimism hasn’t kept her off the top of In Touch Weekly magazine’s new love losers list, in which she narrowly beat best pal Jennifer Aniston, Paula Abdul came out third.

Snoop Dogg To Release The Big Squeeze
A new compilation album presented by hip hop notable rap artist Snoop Dogg, The Big Squeeze, is scheduled for release Tuesday April 24th, on KOCH Records and Doggy Style Records.
The album features up-and-coming West Coast hip hop and rap acts Westurn Union (Damani, Soopafly, and Bad Lucc), The Warzone, Terrace Martin, Azuré. Rapper Snoop Dogg produced 16 of the tracks on the album and is featured on 12 tracks.

On Tuesday, the San Francisco Film Society announced an ambitious program of films and special events that show the society’s determination to make the festival’s golden anniversary its most vibrant year ever.
Running April 26 to May 10, the festival boasts 200 films from a record-high 54 countries.

Bruce Springsteen With The Sessions Band Live in Dublin will be available on-line and in stores on June 5, informs Columbia Records.
The release will consist of: a concert DVD, Blu-ray Disc, and separate two-CD set. The songs and videos are drawn from the band’s performances in Dublin, Ireland at The Point in November of 2006.
Songs include fan favorites from ‘The Seeger Sessions,’ radical interpretations from the Springsteen songbook and rare songs appearing for the first time on any Springsteen release.

The singer has returned to her Puerto Rican roots with a new album of Spanish love songs and says her diva demands are in the past.
Jennifer told Britain’s The Guardian newspaper: “I’m not J.Lo any more. That’s all gone with all the ridiculous stories about tantrums and Egyptian sheets. That’s all my past.”

Mark Wahlberg has been set to star in 20th Century Fox thriller The Happening, which M. Night Shyamalan will direct in August in Philadelphia, informs Variety.
Fox has carved out plans to release the film with a day-and-date worldwide bow on Friday, June 13, 2008.
Mark Wahlberg, who just opened in Shooter, is also getting in the ring with Matt Damon and director Darren Aronofsky on Paramount film The Fighter.

Stephen Rea Shooting New Movie in Dublin

Oscar-nominated Irish actor Stephen Rea is appearing in a new Christmas film being shot around Dublin.
Kisses, which tells the tale of two young children who run away from home, will bring a festive flavour to parts of O’Connell Street.
The film is written and directed by Lance Daly who also made The Halo Effect and Last Days in Dublin.

As the first film The X Files was released in 1998 and a sequel has always been promised, it’ s now time for David Duchovny to confirm the return of The X Files to the big screen.
The 46-year-old actor, who played Agent Mulder on the cult TV show for nine years, revealed he and co-star Gillian Anderson are ready to reprise their roles for a second film.
David says the writers are currently busy brainstorming details for the new script.
