Jam Master Jay’s Last Concert
Run DMC may be retired, but they want to make sure that hip-hop fans remember their legendary rap skills.
Joseph “Run” Simmons, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels and the late Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell will be remembered in separate Run DMC Live At Montreux 2001 CD and DVD packages released by Eagle Rock Entertainment on April 3.
Both feature old-school hits such as King Of Rock, It’s Tricky and their collaboration with Aerosmith - Walk This Way.
This was the last concert the trio performed together before Jam Master Jay was tragically shot to death in a New York City recording studio on Oct. 30, 2002.
